I found this tea towel in a second hand shop in downtown Darlo. It's fantastic - the woman bringing the tea and slippers to her man, who is reading his paper whilst his slavey wife attends to him. But look at the secret world in her head - what does it consist of? Of what does she dream? Hats, ladies and gentlemen. Hats. Apparently that's as wild as it gets inside the female head. It reminds me of Gaye Gambol from the Daily Express cartoon when I was a kid. She was always coming home from town with a mountain of hat boxes, whilst George flashed his wallet. Onions, by golly. She'd be better off on her allotment. |
