Marilyn Shroud from Angel Readman
Sunday, June 8, 2008

One of the nicest presents I got for my birthday this week was this beautiful piece made by Angel Readman - how can she be both an exceptionally talented poet and also a textile artist? I love this cloth - it's so delicate and airy and still manages to convey the power of the Marilyn icon. I love the butterfly cloud and the pearl mole - probably can't see this clearly enough from the image. AR is currently writign a stunning set of poems about MM. I feel so lucky to have a friend who would give me something this beautiful.
